Opportunity Finance Network is a national not-for-profit organization that coordinates and advocates for Community Development Financial. Institutions across the country. Their network of banks, credit unions, loan funds and other institutions are focused on serving underserved communities, providing access to affordable, responsible financial products and services. At their 2024 annual conference, OFN celebrated their 40th Anniversary, and tasked AAC to provide design and branding, conference signage, conference history installation, video production, and more!

Making Waves: Celebrating 40 Years of Impact

The conference location of Los Angeles, California provided inspiration for the stylistic wave motif and bright color scheme. The wave graphics were designed as a visual representation of an idea—initial action creating a cascading effect—reflecting on OFN’s mission to facilitate a network ecosystem of lenders, partners, and borrowers.

An Immersive Experience Through Bold Graphics and Borrower Voices

The OFN anniversary exhibit, highlighting four decades of impact and progress, spanned over thousands of square feet of conference spaces and included interactive stations encouraging attendees to engage with OFN’s history. The energetic and colorful brand graphics paired with borrower photography reflected OFN’s uplifting mission, making this financial conference anything but boring!

Bringing the Brand to Life Through Seamless, Engaging Experiences

Once the brand was established, AAC focused on delivering a cohesive and inspiring execution. Attendees were immersed in an experience that flowed seamlessly across all materials—from on-stage graphics and signage to presentation templates and interactive displays.

Framing the Future: A Visual Journey Through OFN’s 40 Years

There were several different productions wrapped into the 40th Anniversary conference. First, AAC produced a series of videos featuring current and past CEOs of OFN. These featurettes focused on interviews paired with historical video and imagery to guide the viewer from OFN’s humble beginnings through today and onto the future of the industry.

AAC’s video teams supported this project with video shoots around the country and final edits that OFN featured at their plenaries throughout the conference week, and on the interactive video wall.

AAC also had a crew on the ground at the event in Los Angeles, filming attendees throughout the early part of the week, and editing a special video that was featured at the closing plenary on the final day.
